We are planning a mega class event covering the Homer L. Ferguson for all graduating classes.. So far the response has been great, but we are still looking for classmates as well as people to join our reunion committee to be the representative for their class?
The duties will include: marketing, extensive work in locating fellow class members, and fundraising activities. All plans are tentative right now, but we are planning the event to be new dates Aug 6 - 8th, 2009. It will be lots of fun!!!
Just to let you know... the theme of this event will be "URBAN ELEGANCE". In addition to having two days of excitement...with this event, one of our goals will be to highlight individuals who have made notable contributions towards helping change some of the social ills in society, particularly in the urban communities. This will be an event with a purpose, so everyone is encouraged to join us.
We are meeting in a couple of weeks in Hampton (conference calling is available if you are not local), so please let me know if you are interested, what year you graduated and what you would be able to contribute.
